Settling in to read this book was like coming home to your crazily dangerous family, all the while knowing they'd do anything to keep you from harm - just not from themselves.

As I'd come to expect from previous books in the series, To Have & To Hurt has all the scorching heat, the fiery explosions, the drama and the emotional angst carried by quirky characters who don't always fit the mafia romance mould. In this instalment of the story the characters' actions were a tad predictable but I think that had they been anything else, the story arc between the books wouldn't have held together so well. It holds with Tristano being the centred, controlled head of the family. And let's be honest, predictable doesn't mean boring or clean. No! This book has more than enough dirt and steam to keep you happy.

I really hope there's a fourth book in the series because there is so much more to learn about this family and I want to read it all.
