This is Zev Braden and Carly Dylan's story and boy did it have all the feels. I love a good second chance romance, and this one is so heartfelt. I went through so many emotions. You get Zev and Carls journey through first love, heartbreak, to an amazing second chance. I love Melissa's writing style and how the characters from previous books show cameos. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

I am a HUGE fan of Melissa and I have been loving this latest Braden/Montgomery series so I just had to read this book!
Zev and Carly were inseparable when they were younger, right up until a tragedy made Zev run away breaking her heart in the process. Zev was trying to protect Carly when he ran away but he hurt her all the same. Fast forward 10 years and these two bump into each other again. Whoa, you could feel the sizzle jumping right off the page in that scene!
Zev, Zevy, Zev. Oh man, I would pack up my stuff right now and go on any adventure you asked! That man is kind, considerate and damn sexy! I fell in love with Zev about 2 pages in! And Carly is the girl I definitely need to be friends with. I mean she runs a chocolate shop!! But seriously she is so sweet and she takes care of all her friends. I would love to be part of her gang with Birdie and Quinn!
I loved catching up with old characters and meeting quite a few new ones (oh Hello, Cutter). I can't wait for more books in this series and what I'm pretty sure will be another Dark Knight Series!

Searching For Love is the newest Love in Bloom book by Melissa Foster. This is Zev and Carly’s second chance at first love or is it? Both Carly and Zev are adventure loving spirits who have been apart due to the loss of Carly’s best friend and Zev’s guilt over his belief of his role in her death. I love how Melissa Foster writes her characters. Her heroes are handsome, smart, loving of both their women and family/friends, and have the biggest/protective hearts you can find. Her heroines are beautiful (inside and out), smart, sassy, sexy, and the most caring/loving hearts too. This story is set in Colorado and off the New England coast. Both Carly and Zev have to work through their demons, learn to trust one another, and determine how/when/if they will make their reunion work. I found myself laughing out loud, sniffling, and sometimes wanting to toss them in the ocean because they are pretty darn stubborn. These two have a story to tell and Melissa Foster does a great job telling it. If you love big family sagas with lots of love for family and friends then you will enjoy Searching For Love. There are a LOT of other books in this series(HOT cowboys) that are connected here but not needed to enjoy Carly and Zev in their search for love. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This series is written to be a stand alone, however they are best read in series order. The author writes each family and there are numerous siblings with interconnections to the overarching series, so it can get a bit confusing to keep all the names straight. I've read them both ways and get far more enjoyment when I read in order.

Searching for Love is a second chance romance starring Zev Braden and Carly Dylan. We have met both characters in previous books and have also gotten some of their backstory in Anything for Love. This can be read as a stand-alone but I recommend at least reading Anything for Love first.
I loved this book because I felt invested immediately. Maybe it was because I knew their backstory, but it was also because Melissa did such a great job of making the characters’ emotions jump off the page. I also loved how this was a true second chance romance. Once Carly and Zev addressed their pretty tragic past they really moved forward rather than constantly addressing an old issue.
If you are a romance fan I highly recommend Searching for Love and the rest of Melissa’s books.

There are no words to describe the amazingness that is Melissa Foster's writing, imagination, worlds etc. She immerses you into her worlds and doesn't let you go until the last page and then you are wishing you were back there. Zev Braden and Carly Dylan have known each other their whole lives. They were each others first everything. After tragedy strikes Zev leaves Carly brokenhearted. After 10 years the two finally are in the same place for an extended amount of time. Zev has learned from his past mistake of walking away from Carly, he’s in town for six days and plans to do everything he can to win Carly back. Between old hurts and new difficulties, can Carly get over her pain and be happy? Loved this book! Amazing read!!

Treasure hunting, chocolate and a second chance romance? What can be better than that?! From the moment I started reading Searching for Love I was completely captivated by Zev and Carly’s story.
Zev and Carly have known each other practically their entire life, until tragedy struck and forever changed the course of their relationship. Now, years later, they are both in the same place but is the pain of the past too much or will they be able to overcome the past and begin a new future together?
I can’t even begin to describe how much I love this story. I love second chance romances and Zev and Carly’s quickly become a favorite. I love the adventure that this story has, too. Zev and Carly have insane amounts of chemistry and despite their history it is still there and it is explosive. I loved their dreams, I loved how well these two knew each other, how well they could read each other.
Searching for Love is full of adventure, romance, delicious treats and emotions. A MUST READ and a TOP READ of 2020.

Searching for Love is a new contemporary romance in Melissa Foster's Braden & Montgomery / Pleasant Hill - Oak Falls universe. What I enjoy most about Melissa Foster's series is the ability to pick up anyone at anytime and not feel completely lost. If you come a character you want to know more about there's a good chance they will get their own book or already have one, in which case you can hope right into that one :)

Searching for Love tells the story of first loves, Zev and Carly. Zev walked away from Carly after a tragic accident took their best friend. Between guilt and fear of losing Carly herself, Zev walked away from the only girl he ever loved. Now too many years later they come face to face and Zev isn't going to let her go this time. Carly easily falls back into the fun and easy routine she once had with Zev, but she wouldn't survive another heartbreak by him. They have a week to spend together before Zev is off for another adventure and to figure out if they can last with such different lifestyles.

Zev and Carly were both charming characters. Zev with his nomadic lifestyle and sensitive heart. Carly with her helping personality and spontaneous side that only Zev seems to be able to bring out. They have so much fun together from cliff jumping, to outdoor movie night, to literally diving for buried treasure. They have explosive chemistry in the bedroom and outside of it I they had playful banter with each other and slightly cheesy declarations of love. The story itself is low angst and a mixture of Zev and Carly reminiscing about old times and getting to know the adults they have grown into.
