A Holmes shows some humanity! Bit of a spoiler here, but his actions towards the culprit I found to my liking.
Also enjoyed seeing him doing the legwork instead of it coming to him as if by divine inspiration

I like the ending of this story. It shows that Sherlock Holmes does have sentiment and heart that isn't directed solely at logic and science.
