Nem acredito que chegamos oficialmente ao final das aventuras de Eva Evergreen. Não fazia ideia que era apenas uma duologia e agora queria mais!!

I'm honestly kind of jealous that kids these days get to read such cool books. Eva Evergreen is such a wholesome series and I'm really hoping that Julia Abe will continue with a few more stories in this world.

First of all, let's talk about how this story is mainly set in a magical fantasy world that is inspired and built around Asian culture. The representation for early readers is so important and I love that Eva is setting such a great model for young readers. She is a determined, kind, and earnest young witch who continues to strive again and again to be helpful and do meaningful work with her magic. She has a genuine heart and she is always trying to find the best in people and she uses her magic very cleverly and just never gives up. I just love her.

As an adult, it is not criticism when I say that the plot twists within this particular adventure had little shock factor to me. The ending of the story was still able to impact me with the feelings and emotions that the characters were going through. I love seeing the overarching theme of love and what people would do for their loved ones.

I would love to see this story as an animated series, I'm just imagining bright colors, and warm glowing towns that Eva and Ember fly over as they try to be the best witch around Rivelle Realm.

War etwas schwächer als der erste Teil und ich finde die Geschichte hätte nach dem ersten Band beendet werden sollen. :/

This was... just okay. I really loved the first one, with the coziness of the magic and the town, but this wasn't really that. If you prefer more adventure, then you might like this one better than the first, but it just wasn't my fave.

There were also some really dark parts, and the conclusion was kind of odd.
