Read in 24 hours! I just wish the book was longer!! I feel like the writing and story is a bit rushed at times, which makes me not get as attached emotionally as I usually do to the characters. But in saying that, still highly enjoyed and shall be recommending to my other supernatural fantasy friends!

Una oración: KAIDAN HABLA FLUIDO ESPAÑOL

Merged review:

“We had a secret knowledge that demons couldn't fathom. They saw love as a weakness, but they were wrong. Love would keep us going, love was our strength.”

Stars (Out of 10): 8/10

Overall Thoughts: I definitely liked this book wayyy more than the first. The tension between Kaidan and Anna definitely let up a lot, and Anna became stronger. A plot also appeared, so it feels like there’s a reason to actually continue with the series! Overall, I’m actually excited to read the last book now and see how it all plays out.

SPOILERS BEGIN HERE

The Good: We saw growth in our characters, a plot that appeared, and Kaidan finally stopping his on and offness towards Anna, which I was getting really sick of.

The Bad: I feel like Jay and Veronica, and Anna’s entire normal life in general, kinda disappeared without anyone seeming to worry about that. How did she explain away her party lifestyle to Jay and Veronica? Her classes didn’t suffer? At least she’s graduated now, so the lack of a “normal life” can make more sense for a while.

The Characters: I think we definitely saw some growth in Anna this book. She became stronger, both physically and mentally, and actually talked back to Kaidan about he was so on and off and how it wasn’t fair. I also liked that we got to see more of the other Neph, and learn more about the others outside of their circle.

The Plot: Oh dear plot how I had missed you in the first book! We finally know why this story is even being told, and what hopefully will happen by the end of the series!

The Favorite Character: I really liked Zania and Blake, but Anna is becoming cooler too.

Buy it, Borrow it, or Bin it: Borrow it

I just find these books so addicting! I love Anna and Kaidan! The world is perfect paranormal.

I just love how fast paced these books are. They just make you fly through them.

I'm super pumped for Sweet Reckoning and I'm also really excited that there's going to be a fourth book because I don't want this to end.

Better than one.

I can say that book two has me just as hooked as book one! The continuation of this story was perfect and captivating.

sweet peril is a super quick, fun read. it improves some on the first book of this series, in my opinion.
this series isnt the best thing ive ever read, but it has enough cool and neat components in all the different characters and sins to make it interesting.
and when kai and anna finally get tome together, it is very touching and special. they really grow in this book, more then I thought they would.
I have already pre ordered bk three and look forward to seeing where everything ends up.
recommended for ya fans of fallen angels demons love and the like and casts of characters with different powers (which im a sucker for). may not be for everyone, but worth a try. more like 3.5 to 3.75.
