For the first half of this book, I thought "ok, nothing too impressive, probably going to be a solid 3-star read", but oh boy, was I in for something!
1. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Freeman just googled "what not to write in a novel about a young woman being admitted into a psychiatric clinic" and then used the results as inspiration.
2. The writing was so mediocre. And there were way too many grammatical mistakes. I get that it happens, but over 20 times in one book? Come on.
3. "Normal is boring." Wow, do you have any other slogans from, like, hot topic?
