Oh my goodness this is such a great story to share with kids as an example of how to make a difference in their community and the world. Love Amara’s activism & passion for bats.

The format of this book is well done with the story, pictures, and all of the great facts shared at the end. Nice balance of fiction and non-fiction.

Excellent book, both because it shows how being passionate about something and sharing it with others can create change, and because it provides a lot of interesting information about bats. Props for inclusion of different races and a disabled child.

This book is AWESOME. Amara, a young naturalist, moves to a new home and school. With the help of her loving family and enthusiastic new friends, she revitalizes the local park to make it bat-friendly. This book offers tons of really cool bat facts and emphasizes how important bats are in the ecosystem. The illustrations are just *chef's kiss and the cast of characters are diverse and authentic.
