A very fun book! The concept is certainly a bit silly, but it doesn't make A Face Like Glass any less enjoyable.
I'm also impressed by the sheer amount of thought going into the worldbuilding/plot: I don't think there's anything mentioned more than once that doesn't become an important plot point and/or factor into the climax at the end. Not to mention how watertight the internal logic of Caverna is!
There is one scene towards the end that is a bit anticlimactic, but given how well paced and tensioned the rest of the book is, it doesn't make A Face like Glass any less worth it to read

Graphic: Death
Moderate: Drug abuse and Drug use
Minor: Death of parent
There are many deaths throughout this book, mostly of minor/unnamed characters with no graphic description. There is one scene where a character dies violently with mild gore (a description of blood + injury) Many foods/drinks in this book act as an equivalent to drugs, with some emphasis on negative mental effects
