I am trying to start writing reviews, mainly so i have an easier time remembering what books i have read were about, so please be understanding as i am still learning how to do this...

I thought this was a really light (in the sense of how the tone of the writing and story telling was) and entertaining story. A couple of ex-girlfriends are brought in this 'mansion' to join in this reality show (kind of reminded me of 'the bachelor') to win their piece of s**t (excuse the language but i think it's a quite good summary) ex-boyfriend back. All of them have different motives for joining. But the story mainly follows maya and sky who first kind of hate each other due to misleading information about each other from their ex-boyfriend, but when they learn the truth become closer and join forces. Not to spoiler too much.

I don’t think this book was as bad as a two star rating but I was in a bad mood when I read it so

DNF @ 30%. I was super interested in the premise because I love books with a dating show premise and the LGBTQ+ spin on it. And when I started the book it honestly gave off NA rather than YA. I think I might've stuck around more if the book was actually adult because I feel like this premise doesn't make as much sense for the dating pool to be 18-20 year olds. Once one of the main characters got drunk off of jello shots, the book started to seem way more childish to me and it made me not really invested enough to finish. Oh well, ig there's always the Charm Offensive!

If you are a fan of The Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise, this is the book for you. This is a quick and fun read. Hope we don't ever meet a Jordy in real life.
