I really enjoyed this book and was hooked right from the start. I had a hard time putting it down. Loved the characters and their journey throughout a difficult period. Also enjoyed the sense of mystery that the author created but I thought the suspect was revealed too early. Liked the POV from all the important characters.

This was such a fun and easy end of summer read! I love Elin’s books and this one didn’t disappoint. I thought it would be sad based on the plot but it actually was funny, thoughtful and kept me on my toes. I liked the slight mystery behind part of the plot and I loved how she tied everything together in the end. Vivi and her whole family were entertaining and it’s always so fun to read about Nantucket, one day I’ll see it for myself!

After reading the Nantucket Hotel, I almost returned this to the library, decided to give it a try. I enjoyed it a lot more than the other, so good decision.
