Wow! This series was a ride! I am surprised I don't hear more about it.

Ajin is a great, over the top series.

The pacing is pretty great, I am surprised the amount of tension it was able to maintain with characters that largely we know cannot die.

The art style fits the darker horror vibes of the series perfectly.

If I have two small complaints it is that I don't think some of the side plots and characters really paid off enough to justify the time spent on them, and I think the ending was rather abrupt and random, but maybe that was the point.

Sato is a great villain because he is constantly scheming and changing plans, and his motivation is just wild...

Overall I liked the series a lot and highly recommend it to any fans of horror or over the top action.

A very strong finish to the series. The epilogue is exactly what it needed to be.

I'm impressed. Ajin starts off as a generic manga with shonen sensibilities and quickly turns into what's possibly one of the best action mangas in a long time.

It's thematically sound and consistent in spite of laying all of its attention on the thriller and the action elements. The 90s are proud.

I just can't come up with many complaints at the moment. Sato is easily one of the best antagonist in manga and Kei turned out to be a competent main character. The second half of the run is INSANE and almost perfect.

There might be some pieces of dialogue here and there you might not be fond of, maybe the genre might not be your thing, but as far as I'm concerned, this is a masterpiece at what it's trying to do.

I swear Nagai & Sato and Potter & Voldy fight scenes are the same in this volume lol moreover if you add a little bit of death note angels elements and that explains in short.

What would you answer to the question 'what are you gonna go' after getting killed and attempting to kill yourself multiple times because of being born as a demigod which means being unable to die but still suffering from pain so that some science freaks and the government tortured you to make you into a weapon? I don't know your answer but this is what Kei Nagai says:

I'm going to be a doctor, what else?
