OK - completely rewriting this review because I just found out that this is now a much larger series that I originally thought. So what I thought was the author giving up on this family and not completing the stories that I feel like I deserve to have wrapped up, presumably, the author will answer my questions in later books - however I still feel like this wasn't even a very good stand-alone book and didn't cover enough plot. It was very odd.

Ive always been a Jeffrey Archer fan. ANd no doubt the man is one of the greatest story teller of this time. But I found the Clifton Chronicle has lost it charm. The story was frankly too dragged up, extremely cliched and totally predictable. The only moment I was genuinely interested was to find out what was in the envelope handed over by Emma's mom.

Frankly, I was dissapointed by this book and didnt go beyond the point of Sebastian's expulsion[whose story might well have been reserved for a later book].

P.S - the book I read had the entire story cut up and printed in the back cover. Guess they just missed mentioning an Spoiler alert :|
