This was one of those books that you just hate to finish. You want more of it - more of the world, more of the characters, more of the stories - you want more.

Throughout this four book saga, you come to love the characters - you grow with them, you fight with them, you win and lose with them. I will surely miss those folks.

One of the things I loved the most about this journey was the payoffs - a line in the first book could be a crucial plot point in the third, and there’s a coherent world building done here - just because something was said four books ago does not mean that it does not matter. Woven with those hints are actual mysteries that leave you guessing - will we ever know the answer to this?

All and all, this is the second time I’ve read these books, and it surely won’t be the last.

Farewell Argetlam, we shall meet again.

One of my favorite book series that I read as a kid, I still vividly remember some of the battle scenes and the color of the dragon scales in my head... I wish I had a personal copy to re-read them all.

Woah, another book about dragons. I at first watched the movie and fell in love with Saphira and Eragon’s relationship, so I decided to read the books and the author wrote such a beautiful set of books. A boy who turns into a man, and a boy who finds out who he really is after so much is taken from him. World Building is #chefskiss

A great book series for young adult readers, with a good mix of magic and reality the author spins a realistic but still magical world around Eragorn and his dragon Saphira. There is some romance between two of the main characters but the relationship is believable. A classic for any young adult fantasy reader.
