I do enjoy this series and the characters but the plot lines are getting more and more improbable with each book.

Let me start off by saying that if you are someone who cannot abide a cliffhanger, maybe don't read this book. While normally I am firmly in the "I want nothing to do with cliffhangers" camp, just this one time, I have to let it slide. I loved this book and am so invested in Kett that I have to know what happens next and just want a conclusion to the poor bugger's miseries with this lot. Hopefully the next book puts it all to rest and Kett and the team can move on to other business.

Really, this series has been fantastic and I enjoyed each one more than the last.

I feel guilty writing this but in some instances, the children have passed from cute to annoying a long time ago. Still though, the story and characters remain brilliant for 99% of the time.
