This was fantastic. The writing is like silk on the tongue, the world building is exquisite without being over bearing, and the story itself pops and sparks as little slivers of mystery are revealed. Can’t wait for Book 3 - i Know it won’t be as much of a wait for me as others!

This is a very exciting and fun continuation of Kvothe’s story — it does drag a bit in the middle, but cmon, it’s still fun!!!!

Love it. Can’t wait for book 3. Take your time, Rothfuss!

Sequels aren't always as good as their precursor, but The Wise Man's Fear was an excellent follow-up to Name of the Wind. I cruised through this book, and the only complaint is that book #3 wasn't ready for me to dive into immediately after.
