"When five-year-old Fudge discovers money and thinks his family doesn't have enough, he decides to create his own Fudge Bucks. Unfortunately he's gone a bit overboard, and his family decides to visit Washington, D.C., to "let him see the green stuff hot off the press." While there, Fudge and company run into their distant cousins from Honolulu, who wind up coming to New York City and camping out with the Hatchers for a while. What a group! Cousin Howie calls Dad Tubby; Flora and Fauna, the twin Natural Beauties, end each other's sentences and break out into song; and another little Farley Drexel -- nicknamed Mini after a slight disagreement over the use of the name Fudge -- has Fudge going totally berserk." (From Amazon)
Great fun for any child!

Fine, but nowhere near as good or memorable as the previous Peter-centered entries in this series. I didn't find Fudge's obsession with money to be particularly funny and the Howie Hatchers for the most part grated on my nerves. Farley a.k.a. Mini was fun, though, as was the idea of another Fudge, and I like how events come full circle from [b:Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing|1099802|Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing|Judy Blume|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1180979876l/1099802._SY75_.jpg|879886] by the end.

wow... birthdays, funerals, graduations... this book will NEVER get old
when i tell you i bust out laughing at practically every other page like judy blume you have outdone youself yet again
this might be the best book in the series i dare say...
this book has one of my favorite closing sentences. it one of the only books that i can clearly remember finishing as a kid and i remember being so sad the series is over.
im deadass lowkey sad rn because the series is finished and yeah i could read the book about sheila but its just not the same...
definitely going to get into more judy blume books because i didn't when i was younger
rankings for the series:
1. Double Fudge
2. Superfudge
3. Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing
4. Fudge a Mania
make no mistake tho like every single one of these books is super good. this ranking is just based off which ones i feel the most nostalgic for.

This was so sweet and funny and genuine. Asp, Fudge is my brother. He just is.
