It was a decent read, but it was more tame than I was expecting. I thought it would be a heavy bully romance, but we didn’t even see much bullying at all, there was just some mention of it happening. The beginning was very quick & each chapter was a year time jump from the last, and the bullying happened mainly in those years we didn’t see. Idk, I was just expecting more from it. However, I did like the character development the guys had, and for that (and the fact I just love Cal) I rated it 3 stars.

Athelia is entering her freshman year at college and she quickly meets 3 boys who offer to help her move in. The 4 of them develop a close friendship & even start to romantically get involved. However, she’s manipulated by a professor on campus. The professor happens to be Wes’s stepfather, who tells him that Athelia chose to sleep with him and is playing Wes and his friends. This makes Wes turn his back on Athelia, and Cal and Kellan follow suit. They decide they’re going to bully her because of the choice she’s made to be with Kammes instead of them. What they don’t know though, is that Kammes was forcing her, she never chose him. In their senior year, the boys find out about the truth, and decide to change their ways and try to make things up to her. She starts to enact her own revenge plan on the boys, making them fall for her more, and when they each exchange their ‘I love you’s,’ she leaves them and ghosts them. After Cal falls into a depressive episode, Kellan goes to get her back and she realizes the mistake she made. She knows they deserved it, but she didn’t want them to ever be suicidal like she once was. They make up for good and all get their happily ever after.

1.25/5!! tbh the girl kinda pissed me off a lot and lowkey the time skips between her first day of university and 2 weeks later confused me so much. it also disgusts me that she fucked her professor, and did everything he asked her to do. like just tell ur parents if hes blackmailing ur ass instead of complaining about being raped. honestly the guys in this book werent any better and they were so annoying too. like leave the poor girl alone. also i hated the smut in this book because tell me why 100+ pages of the book was about her getting revenge fucked on halloween like i dont care. this book utterly disgusts me and 1.25/5 ratings for this is considerably very high for me. this is a sign to stop reading books based off of quotes on tiktok.

It’s been a while that I stay up all night to finish a book! This one was well worth it.
I definitely enjoyed this bully romance. I do feel there was some characters that could have been a little more detailed but they may have their own storylines since this will be a set. A girl can hope.

This was a truly dark romance! I’ve read some that claim to be dark but are kinda tame. This one was definitely not that! So if you need them, read the trigger warnings. Me personally, I am a trigger free person so I went in blind and it was glorious! All of the darkness you want in a dark romance!! Thalia was bullied to the point of wanting to end it all but when the truth comes out Cal, Wes and Kellen try to make up for what they’ve done. You 100% need to read this story to find out if they are able to or not!!!
