Not bad but not my favorite. Well written, just a little slow for me, and I wasn't the biggest fan of Persephone. Hades rocked though.

The writing style was straight bad. Felt very unpolished and choppy. Things would happen too fast and without any sort of rhyme or reason. But damn it I’m still going to read the others.

I’ve tandem read this book with A game of Fate and I loved it. It wasn’t easy to switch from one book to another but it was a great experience. Both books were on my kindle so it was easy.

At the end, I totally recommend doing it: the chapters follow themselves very well and it’s interesting to see both povs. If you’re interested in doing so, it’s easy to find the reading order ☺️

One thing I’d like to say about Persephone is how naive and quite frustrating she’s been 😂😂😂 sometimes I wanted to wake her up and make her understand that it’s not as easy as she thought it was but I kept my cool 😮‍💨😮‍💨
