Very short, but already so much different than the other installments of Zelda manga. This is the first one that is totally brand new to me in a long time, as I reread the other ones over and over since childhood. This makes is doubly exciting.
Link in this book is already incredibly different than we’re used to. It’s on the violent and bloody side, not bad, but jarring for Zelda related content. Link has a mysterious back story added to him.
I’m excited to read more!

I've stayed away from the Legend of Zelda manga until now because I strongly dislike Link speaking. While I still prefer a nonverbal Link, I will say he's absolutely hilarious in this volume.
Graphic: Body horror, Injury/injury detail, and Violence
Moderate: Blood, Death, and War
Minor: Grief and Xenophobia
