Some parts were interesting, some were funny, but I must admit that I spent a lot of time confused about how a person can be so. many. things?
ngl Some of it was aggressively strange, and I couldn't tell how much of it was sarcasm.

Well the book wasn't as bad as the reviews here made it seem. That said, I think it was just okay, there's nothing really amazing or mind-blowing, it's just there. I mean there are some simple books that you pick up that because of its said simplicity tend to be memorable but this book is neither. I can't say it's philosophical takes were deep enough to make me feel enlightenment or invoke some sort of thought-provoking feeling within me and on the other hand, I couldn't really care enough about Sheila's journey to acceptance? It's one of those books that seems to contain a lot but on closer inspection, actually talks about nothing.
It was actually hilarious, that I could attest to, and even if it didn't really hit a strong point, I think I enjoyed the book and at the end of the day, that's what matters.

Nothing against the writing. It definitely wasn’t bad just not for me at this time. I just found that it read like non-fiction and I just wasn’t into it. Maybe I’ll give it another chance some day

Now I was tired. All I wanted was to rest. The six days of Creation each have their own morning and evening, thereby showing their beginning and end. Only the sev- enth day has neither morning nor evening. It stands outside of Creation, belonging to the divine order alone.

I wanted a day without morning or evening. I wanted a day of rest.
