What a beautiful — both conceptually and artistically — exploration of the struggles of coming of age, loneliness and grief, and finding your true friends. This book brought out so many emotions in such an organic and masterful way with a combo of art and character work. I just fell in love with these characters and their gorgeous autumnal town… I want to live there always?! The perfect graphic novel to devour as the leaves fall around you!

Thank you to Netgalley for providing me an ARC in exchange for an honest review! 

This book was fantastic. I liked it a lot more than the first book. I had read the first as a stand-alone but a sequel helped develop the world and see how our characters are navigating things. I would have loved to see more of the other ghosts and how they felt though, not just Wendell!

This book was also quite darker than I was expecting. I thought the sequel might be a bit lighter as we catch up with the characters, but no… This one was slightly less charming than the last due to the constant conflicts.
