This book is the best! I read it to my husband and we just giggled the whole time. Of course dragons love tacos! The instructional nature of the plot adds to the overall win. I think the cover shows it all--a dragon with a mouth full and a tummy covered in tacos. Brilliant!

For: readers wanting a silly book; dragon fans; taco lovers.

Possible red flags: some readers may find the conflict too stressful.

Dragons love their tacos and this book illustrates just how much they do – and how dangerous they are if you break the one rule: don’t feed them spicy salsa!

This was a cute story with good illustrations. I can see it being fun for the younger ones. After all these dragons love their tacos!

But was no one else bothered that they “hate … hate … hate …?” Three times on one page? Thankfully the word isn’t used anywhere else and maybe I’m over thinking the potential sensitivity to use of such a strong word.

A simple fun book about making tacos for dragons and what not to include. Fairly straight forward and enjoyable for any dragon lover.

A fun and informative book that is also a little silly (I mean this as the highest praise), I love the message that we can bounce back from mistakes! Also love the dragons and tacos.

I liked this book but it didn't particularly blow me away or anything. I'm sure kids would find this to be super funny and enjoy the story loads. The pictures are cute and colorful (I especially liked the taco party scenes). And now I know that dragons don't like salsa!

yeah, i know. some people say adding picture books to your goodreads challenge is sus, or even bordering on morally wrong, but this is my account so i do what i want.
