An interesting book in its inception and structure. A group of women authors were asked to each write a story based on a word used to describe women perjoratively, such as virago or harridan or hussy. Each went on her own flights of fancy, so the stories range widely in settings, periods, points of view, and messages.

I feel like some of these stories were 10/10 (Siren, Wench, Tygress) and some of the others were just unmemorable. Took me a while but I’m glad I read it!
