I only picked this up because the cover gave me daisy Jones and the six vibes, which as I started to read it, I realised was true for the story too! It's a different story but has a lot of similarities.  I liked the story telling but I didn't enjoy how we don't really learn a lot about some of the other characters, such as Maggie (why is she such a bitch?) . I also liked the ending, it wasn't what we wanted but it was the right way to end it. Enjoyable book and a strong debut!

A solid book! Honestly, this reminded me a lot of Daisy Jones but I liked it more because it’s not told in the interview style that Daisy Jones is. The characters are sweet and likeable, the story is entertaining enough, and I loved getting to read the song lyrics and see how an artist might relate their music to the events of their life. I also thought the mental health representation was an important addition. Overall, this is a vibey book that makes me feel like putting on a flowy skirt and going out dancing.
