An interesting concept with fantastic art that works really well with the darker tones of the storyline. It's definitely the kind of comic that prefers to jump right into things which, while not bad, isn't really what I was looking for.

While I had a good time reading this (and THAT panel of Nightwing-iykyk - was golden in-context), I think I would have preferred something with a little more build to it. Not just to the reveal towards the end, but to how some of the characters are reacting to the whole situation, especially as a much more casual DC fan (aka someone who doesn't really read the comics and isn't wholly familiar with all of them outside a few favorites). Also - and this might just be the nature of comics like this - it cycled through characters and minor asides so quickly that I didn't get to really enjoy the cameos I got.

Also, points deducted for, baffingly, not including Duke and Stephanie in the larger batfamily schemes. I was at least hoping for a little cameo....
