zwölf franken für nicht mal hundert seiten - das war ein teurer spass. und leider ein bisschen enttäuschend. ich habe die filme noch ein bisschen in erinnerung, aber auch nicht mehr so ganz, jedenfalls ist diese geschichte noch einfacher geschrieben als "madita", und hat dabei gewisse schildbürger-vibes. die charaktere sind um längen weniger vielschichtig und liebenswert als die in "madita", und maditas streiche gefallen mir deutlich besser. leider fehlen auch die rassistischen abschnitte einmal mehr nicht (ach astrid lindgren, ohne diese mühsamen randbemerkungen wären ihre bücher noch viiel besser und ich müsste mir nicht jetzt schon überlegen, wie ich sie für meine kinder mal umdichte, oder wie ich ihnen erkläre, weshalb ich dieses und jenes wort nicht vorlesen werde und was es damit auf sich hat)

Ihana Eemeli! Tätä kuunnellessa mieleen tuli vanha TV-sarja (vai elokuva?), jota myös pienenä katsoin. Äänikirja on todella ihana. Tarina kulkee kauniisti ja kirja on ihana ajaton. Ei suotta klassikko!

This is another short children’s read at just over a hundred pages. It is all about a little boy called Emil. Now Emil is a very naughty, mischievous boy. Within this book are three days/three stories of just how naughty Emil really is.
Now I’m a 26 year old adult and even parts of this made me chuckle. So it will be a hit for children. However they may get some cheeky ideas themselves from this book. There is suppose to be a whole series on this little man but this is the only one I have read and it read perfectly fine as a Standalone. A well deserved four stars from me.
