I cannot remember a single detail of this series. Only that I enjoyed it which means at one point I'm gonna have to come back to this and rediscover what I loved about it

I know I've arrived fashionably late to the party 😁 but better late than never 😉

I enjoyed this book while reading it, but by the end I felt a little let down. I enjoyed the characters and the backstory that the author created, but something about it just felt a little flat and predictable to me. It seemed that there should have been more; what there was, I guessed early on. I’ll definitely be reading the rest of the series, or at least the next book, but I hope they are more satisfying.

To me this has the same vibe as the [b:Percy Jackson and the Olympians|21416450|Percy Jackson and the Olympians (Percy Jackson, #s 1-3)|Rick Riordan|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1409611799l/21416450._SX50_.jpg|3197005] series - probably the whole "teenagers saving humanity" thing. Though there's no greek mythology in this series, so it's quite different plot-wise.

Jace's character reminds me of Keefe from the Keeper of the Lost Cities series. For most of the book he is hilarious, sarcastic and witty! Jace is definitely my favourite character!
