This series is by far the best series I've ever read, and I read a lot of books!!! It's a must read. I'm very happy Sandi had the release day pushed up! I spend all morning reading it. I couldn't put it down. I didn't want to.

The only thing I will say about this book is: this book is written from four different perspectives; the black family "Connor, Ellery, Julia & Collin". The book picks up where it ended in the fourth installment. This book had me laughing, crying and all emotions running high. I felt like I knew these people personal. I hurt where they did, also shared their happiness.

This book truly shows the importance of family and true friends. It has what all family have; secrets, betrayal, unconditional love. But most importantly it had forgiveness.

If there's one thing the black family thought me is that, life is very precious & short, so love where you can & forgive where it's needed. Help others so that people remember there's still good in the world. But most importantly LOVE selflessly!!

I'm the words of Chris Brown, "it's never a right time to say goodbye.."

I hope this is not the end, I truly enjoyed the ride of this family ..forever black, forever you, forever us...forever family ❤️

“Family was everything to them”

This book wraps up the story of one of my favorite families, the Blacks. I can’t cover much of the story without re-summarizing. The story covers each one of the Black Family members point of view giving the final journey to their HEA. Since I have read the entire series, the main and subcharacters were well known to me to be able to follow their additional life growth.

This book I would definitely recommend that you have read the previous novels before trying this one. Although Ms Lynn gives some background, some of the actions and statements the characters make have more sense if you have already got to know them. I am going to be honest. The first 35% of the novel was a slower read. This novel was more romance than steam in her previous Black Family books. It took me a bit to get into the novel. However, there is a plot twist that does engage and the experiences to the outcome were pleasantly not what I expected.

The book was good but not in love with it or a re-read like Connor and Ellery’s original story. Is this final book as need to read? No. But if you are like me and like your serials to end in a nice wrapped bow and you need a summer read at the beach, it’ll be worth the casual read.

*****
Five stars.

First of all I would really like to compliment Sandi Lynn, this was the first history that I ever read that did not finish on the wedding, or right after she gaves birth, when it even comes to that.

It continues, it was really smart to bring the family that they created to the game.

For me the highlight of these books are the relationship of Connor and Elle, it was so natural and you could still feel the spark, just as we used to on the beginning, and the book could not have ended differently, we started with them and we finished with them.

So far this was one of the best.

So to finish a very nice quote from the ending of this book:"Our story wasn’t always perfect. From day one, we had our ups and downs, but no matter what life threw at us, our love was strong and unlike any other that pulled us through. "
