I was very pleasantly surprised by this one. It has a sort of bad rep among comic fans but I found it to be very engaging. A bit out there, it's very much a wild ride, but a fun ride nonetheless. There were a lot of things that seems very off at the start but they were explained and tied into the story well. There are a lot of similarities plot-wise to the born again arc but I feel like it stuck the landing better, with the ending being tied in with the earlier set-ups in a more coherent way. I also liked to focus on their characters and their relationships. It's the first time when reading these comics that Matt and Foggy have actually felt like close friends and has the best integration of romantic subplots so far. The relationships not only changed and developed but did so for clear reasons rather than just feeling like the writers whim.
Graphic: Drug use, Suicide, Kidnapping, and Schizophrenia/Psychosis
Moderate: Cancer, Child death, Torture, and Medical content
Minor: Gun violence, Rape, Schizophrenia/Psychosis , and Abandonment
