Let me just say that the art is BEYOND beautiful. Taylor’s “alien” form was spectacular. I loved the colors. The art generally was just so enjoyable. I also liked the relationship between her and Kat, and also her and the dog (I’m blanking on his name - Argus?). So sweet.

My problem with the book was how fast it went without fully explaining the time going by. I have no idea how much time was ever happening— and it was made especially confusing by interactions that would directly oppose what seemed to be the flow of time. I also was frustrated by the ending. It felt underbaked. I wanted to see that things would get better—easier. I wanted to see others open up to her. I was frustrated in what felt like an ending that cut out the final chapter.

I guess I hope there’s another book. That’s my main annoyance. I want more to explain what I’m missing. Beautiful book though! An excellent metaphor.
