So here's the thing about Sookie...she can be so insufferable at times. I don't hate her all the time and her voice doesn't grate my nerves to read, but sometimes I wish I could shake her. Also the word of the day calendar is old already.
It was also quite irritating that suddenly Hadley is dead and Waldo is whodunit and we missed out on that because it's part of an anthology somewhere else.
One of my favorite parts about this book is that Sookie finally gets it about Bill. FINALLY. Girl, you took your sweet ass time, huh?! There was quite a bit of action and lots of different story arcs and I liked that. I really like Quinn, but I'm still #TeamEric. Always. I also really love Queen Sophie-Anne. Onto the next book! :)

I loved this book a lot. As someone who watched the show before reading the books I’m so sad that almost none of this book made it to the show. Almost every event and character didn’t make it to hbo

I have to go with only 3 stars on this because even though I really liked the plot of the story I was very, very annoyed by the fact that the author just assumed the reader already knew what had occurred with Sookie's cousin Hadley. I really hated that so it sorta ruined this book for me.

This wasn't halfway bad, though there were some things that made me cringe.

I am still really liking this series. I know that some people got bored with it but I have been devouring the books and waiting for more. :) I really like Quinn and I am glad that Sookie is with him now instead of Bill or Eric. I'm kind over the love interest with vamps right now and I'm glad that Sookie is moving on!

This book was pretty good. But seriously how many more things can go wrong for poor Sookie Stackhouse?!

I love the new characters we were introduced to in this installment. For better or worse, the Queen and her entourage, Amelia, and Quinn are all bringing exciting facets to the series. I'm glad Bill's secret was revealed so she can get over him once and for all. I like getting more insight into Claudine, and Sookie's own ties to fairies.

These books are so so great. I’ve really enjoyed them so far. I have Bot gotten tired of them yet, either.
