This has been one of those series where I'm gladly willing to overlook any and all plot holes and/or scientific impossibilities, because the story is just that compelling... and the main character is super likable. This novel is a solid ending to the trilogy, a thrilling page-turner as usual.

A slight downside: The sheer number of alternate-selves (and alternate-other-characters) did get a little confusing for me, which could only be expected. The book starts off with a ton of backstory and recap - which is 100% necessary - but by the end, there are so many that some storylines don't feel quite wrapped up.

Spoiler
And as if the previous books hadn't given me enough Orphan Black vibes already, there is literally a Cloneverse.

Now that I think about it, Home Office Marguerite (Wicked) has a lot in common with Rachel Duncan, what with her extreme jealousy of her sisters' parental attention.

It's official, I am completely in love with this series! Any of the flaws that it had don't even matter anymore, it was overall perfection!
This book had me on the edge of my seat from the start, and I so loved every minute of it. I don't think there was anything in this book that I was not happy with, and it was so good to see a bad version of Marguerite, especially after she had clearly judged Theo, as well as Paul, on their worst selves, and honestly, I think Marguerite was the worst of them all.
It was extraordinary to be able to take one last look at almost all of the Marguerite's of each dimension that she had been to, to be able to know where they're at for the time being.
Thank you so much Claudia Gray for ending the book so perfectly, and not leaving a single lose end of what happens after the book is over. I was reading the prologue and it made me so incredibly happy to receive such closure, leaving me with no unfulfilled questions, expect maybe one... Is there going to be a spin off series about time travel?! If so I am so freaking reading it the day it comes out! Please, Claudia, I'm begging you. Give us a spin off! It would be incredible!
