Minor OW drama. Still loved the devotion from the mmc to the mfc.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved reading about Flor and I'rec. Their resonance may have been messy with all the Tia drama, but I felt that only made this book all three now interesting.

I loved the mystery of this book as well. A lot happened in such a short amount of time, and I'm excited to see where this storyline goes. That's definitely a lot of questions that I'm gonna want answered when I'm feeling up to reading more from this universe.
Why are the  Metlak's fleeing? What happened to R'jaal and Tia? What happened to the clones that are missing upon discovery of the pods? Where'd all the fruit go? What's going on with The ancestor people that supposedly aren't extinct like everyone assumed? Why did the one clone have to get a new khui after their first khui died within the first night of having it?

I'd also love to see how the clones integrate and interact with the Icehome tribe and maybe with the original tribe at Croatoan as well. So I'll definitely be getting into Ice Planet Clones at some point. I'm just going to be taking quite a break from this universe as I'm feeling a bit burnt out from reading both IPB and Icehome this year.

So overall I really liked this one and felt it was a great finish to the Icehome series. I'm excited to see what happens in the next series when I get to it, although to my knowledge, there's only one book from the clones series released so far (R'jaal's book) so I definitely have some time before I get into that series.

I liked this a lot!

I loved how their resonance was a bit drawn out (tbh would have loved it to be even more drawn out for the drama of it all!)

I think it was a book that mainly set up the next series tho which sucked a bit. However I think I'Rec and Flor were the perfect pair to help set up the next series.

The plot thickens! Loved the 'oops we resonated with the wrong people' plot.
Was originally devastated that R'jaal was going to end up with Tia but Dixon has a different plan for him. So excited to see what happens there.

I did not like this one much, a lot of the conflict stands on the lack of communication between the two and the "but you love Tia" became old very quickly. One thing, that was brought up in the story, rang very true: they resonate and they immediately jump together in the furs... no hesitation, no nothing. From the previous book I was expecting a tension and some build up in their relationship and not that they'll start clapping cheeks right away...

Things I enjoyed had to do mostly with the expanding lore of the Not-Hoth and while I am annoyed
about whoops, another group of people is dumped here, as if it is not just milking the series... I'm not buying that it was just a convenient way to deal with a plot line in another series... get your coin for sure, but don't try to make it as an oopsie-not-intentional
I am, for better or worse, curious about the questions that came up in this book. Will I pick up the next book? I sure hate that I probably will.

Another amazing addition to the Icehome series. I love how RD opened things for a new series with plenty of opportunity for many more HEA but also nervous about the conflict set-up for future books. I can't wait to see how everyone navigates this new direction of crisis!
