A cute story, but I find her writing a bit awkward

This was a sweet book. It’s been fun to get to know the sisters, that we caught a glimpse of in the first book and I can’t wait to read more.

The Standish sisters, all 5 of them, are orphaned and have been passed off from one distant relative to the next. June Standish, the eldest, has done her best to raise her sisters to be proper ladies. It kind of reminded me as a Regency Little Women.

Lord Morley won a ramshackle castle in a game of cards and the 5 women too which are ready to be in society. Just what a bachelor needs! He makes it his duty to oversee repairs but the eldest sister is pretty and makes it easier to be in Brighton. But he doesn’t want to be there just for duty.

Again, this was sweet but I wish there was more tension. The climax was in the last chapter and wrapped up really fast and easy.

I received this ebook from the author for a review but these are my own thoughts and opinions.

I happened to lose my copy of this ... Found it a week later in the van, I had put it under my seat, oops!

Wellllllll, I finally sat down and read the rest of the book listening to the waves at the beach ... It was quite a relaxing read after having something of a reading slump.

I liked the romance and the sisters relationship was one that I love.

I wasn't sure of Morley at first and didn't know what to think of him until halfway through the book and I found that I did liked him and he just didn't really know what he was doing.

A sweet regency romance though I don't agree with the author's beliefs so I may not read more of her books.

Head's up, the author is LSD which I didn't realize until after I read it. Her beliefs didn't affect the storyline, but I just want you to be able to make the choice.

I voluntarily received and reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

Loved this second book in the Lords for the Sisters of Sussex! Morley is a completely swoon-worthy hero. Enjoyed the romance and the setting.
