This was not the book for me. It had tropes I like, but I just did not click with the characters and the writingstyle. And that's okay. But this book was not bad AT ALL. So I'll list some things I loved so you can decide if this book is for you.

I loved the Star Wars references. And the e-mails were my absolute favourite. The way they grew up together and were so supportive of each other. Ughhh my heart!
The family vibes were nice, I love some sibling banter in my books!
And I loved how botch characters were trying to go after their dreams.

But I could not connect to Calla at all. And was annoyed by/with Nathan most of the time. I wish he stood up for himself and said no from time to time. I know in the synopsis it says he is a people pleaser and all that, but I didn't really see him grow in that aspect which annoyed me even more. When the females in the book were swooning over him, I wanted to rattle his brain like, man up, dude. Talk to your best friend and get it over with. Declare your feelings and go after the girl. It felt like the whole 'oh but she's my best friends little sister' was dragged out for too long, at least for my taste.

This book just did not click with me but I know many people will love it because of the brother's best friend, forced proximity, fated mates, e-mails, music teacher and cosy vibes. It truly is a great read for fall, just not for me personally.
