Delightful romp. Daisy Dawson was a fun read in many ways. I especially enjoyed the sketchy illustrations throughout, which captured the heart of each character delightfully well. Daisy in particular, with her spiky hair, evokes smiles, and those cows are certainly full of themselves. As a sort of repetitive tale, though, it might be a hard sell for the age of child I'd like to share it with; I found it quite long for the style. Text drags a wee tad in places, and I'd never want a kid to want to stop reading it, because it's fun, and quirky, and certainly very sweet (not that sickly kind, you know, but nicely so). The right student would fall in love.
