As a young boy stands in the outfield bored out of his mind, he imagines all the fun things that he could be if he were in the jungle instead. The illustrations are the real star of this story! A fun read aloud that shows some of the pitfalls nd advantages of being in the jungle. It will make the reader smile. Definitely recommended.

Lively illustrations help sustain this story about a boy who dreams of being different jungle animals. Could tie in nicely with a writing project where students identify the pros/cons of being a certain animal and then illustrate their thinking.
