Obsessed with how men manage to write a book about their life with zero self reflection involved. This is like a smug Italian version of crying in h mart

This man could never not be perfect. There’s nothing that he could do that I would not absolutely love… So, it comes as no surprise that this book is no different. Doing exactly what he says this book does, it sets out to tell the story of his life through food. He discusses food within his own heritage. He discusses his own relationship with food. He discusses his battles with health issues, and how it affected his relationship with food. And in between all of these insightful bits into his life, we get these great anecdotal recipes.

food is absolutely my love language so this book completely spoke to me. I opted for the audiobook, which I highly recommend because he narrates it himself. I would happily listen to this man read the most mundane things.
