I loved learning about these woman and their work. Sometimes I thought it might be difficult to follow for younger readers though.

so this is the second 'graphic' novel I've ever read (and no offense, but it should be the last.)
i actually really liked it, it was really cute and sweet and interesting. great idea… not a lot happened but it was good.

I'm not sure if I was distracted while reading this, but I found the storyloines a bit confusing and could tell you maybe 1 - 2 things that I learned from this book. The art was clear though?

This was quite interesting, and I really liked the illustrations. But it only just skimmed the surface of these three women. And while that was probably the intent, it definitely left me wanting more info - more substance from their stories.

Taking a great approach to explaining many different stories, this graphic novel looks at the lives of 3 extremely influential women in the anthropology/biology/zoology field. The work that has been done to study chimpanzees, gorillas, and orangutans would not have been what it was without them. I really loved how easily this visualizes the story for readers but I wish the narration was a bit more organized. It would hope around at times and make it hard to follow along with what was happening. I wish it was just a little more seamless in how it explains all the timelines but other than that, it was a fun quick read.

I read this a few years back and revisited it, meaning I re-read it. Always have and always will love this book.
