This book was weird and not my usual cup of tea. I can’t really get into that surreal, black-and-white minimalist comic aesthetic (like R. Crumb or Felix the Cat), but this grew on me. I like the ecological themes, and the characters get more interesting as it goes along, though it’s a little repetitive. I’m definitely invested enough to read volume 2.
