I did not expect to like this book as much (first time reading Avery Flynn) but this book was amazing. I kept smiling and laughing for most of the book bc of their antics and I loved both characters!

This had so much potential but it failed to meet it.  There were some good things - I liked Clover & thought she was a good contrast to Sawyer, and when they were together, they had great chemistry.  However, the things I didn’t like outweighed the good.  It felt oddly paced at times and just a bit empty.  Mostly, I didn’t like Sawyer - he almost felt like a non-entity in his own story.  Just smug, smirky & focused on business but too chicken to tell his mother to keep out of his love life.
