Normally I wouldn’t read through a cookbook, just sort of page through it and try a few recipes, but this book was a unique fun experience. Ha’s art is colorful and the graphic novel format adds important background and fun facts to every dish. The recipes I tried were tasty and easy to follow.
A very gentle and upbeat intro to Korean cooking.

Excellent, informative, very easy to follow. Wonderful introduction to Korean cooking. I've cooked a couple recipes in this book and they've all turned out delicious! I wish all cookbooks came in graphic format!

I don’t usually “read” cookbooks. I use them for specific recipes but this cookbook is different. I love the comic book, story telling aspect of this cook book. I loved the cultural sharing and simple recipes that seemed very straight forward to follow (with great tips for prep, serving etc). I haven’t tried all the recipes but I would recommend for anyone interested in learning about Korean food and culture!
