Short but poignant. Great reflection on life and what we have to offer. I particularly loved the last essay, Sabbath.

Reread: February 2022
When my time comes, I hope to face the grave with the same dignity and gratitude for life as Oliver Sacks.

A wonderful reflection on what truly matters in life to end the year.

I've been wondering what my 75th new read should be for 2015, and then my soul sister Michelle sent me this book. What perfect timing. These essays, though individually previously published, have tremendous power as a collection. Sacks writes so beautifully about what it means to live in the face of death.
