A very solid representation of Secret Garden. I enjoy the modernization, and don't think that it detracts form the story. The only bummer is that none of hte baby-goth vibes of the moore come through to this rendition.

A beautifully written and illustrated graphic novel based on the Secret Garden. This secret garden is a rooftop garden. I loved the portrayal of anxiety and counseling and different types of grief. It was just lovely.

I thought this was such a great book. I love this retelling of The Secret Garden. These graphic novel remixes are a great idea. I like how Mary is moving from California to New York to live with her uncle after her parents die. I like how that her uncle Archie had a husband and they both had a son Colin who was suffering from anxiety after the death of his father. I think the author did a great job show casing this mental health issue and how it was explained to younger kids. I also like the idea of a roof top garden and how both Mary, Dickon, and Colin all helped bring the garden back to life.

I read this because my daughter loves Graphic novels and I approve. A great modern day retelling in graphic novel form.
