I really enjoyed this story! The characters were fun and entertaining. This is the second in the series but can be read as a standalone. If you've read the first book then you got a bit of a tease regarding Beck and Maisie. Nothing happened between them in the first book, but you could tell that there was something between them. Time has passed from the first book as well. I really enjoyed the way that this story developed. We get to know Maisie and Beck and some of their ticks. Maisie is guarded and she has reason to be with how she grew up. She learned that she could only depend on herself and she doesn't know how to look to others for help, or accept it when offered. Beck has always been the flirt and the good time guy, but Maisie brings out another side to him that he has to figure out. The sex is explicit and fits the characters and story. It was blended well. The story was well written and had me engaged from beginning to end. No one major event really but more figuring things out in everyday life. I really enjoyed reading the story and will continue to read this series.

What I liked/Didn’t Like: Fast paced very well written book. It takes place in Willow Brook Alaska which in the book is a small town. Beck and Maisie annoy each other to no end and it makes for a fun story to read.
