I read this fast, wasn’t okay with some things but ignored them in the hopes that things will get better in the next book. They didn’t and the 2nd book became a DNF which was so disappointing because the plot of the story seemed so intriguing and the guys had really piqued my interest. The FMC, was the main reason for disliking this series, she rubbed me wrong almost every time. I might be wrong but I feel like if you have been graced with love then you should be worthy or if not worthy yet then please grow up but being whiny and ungrateful to the point of callously hurting the people that are showing you they care about you, not something I want to see in novels, thank you very much, I see enough of that in my world.
Plus, what’s up with the no coding that wasn’t happening, aarrggghh

Wow this book was amazing. I loved the character Emma. She was funny, smart, fun, a little insecure which makes are a super relatable character. I also enjoyed her best friend Zoey. I connected with her on a deep level. Hot guy fog
Now the guys oh the guys. Jax, Jude, Daniel, Trigg, and Gunner are amazingly hot. I loved every single one of them. Now I did have trouble keeping them straight, which is way I can’t give this book five stars. It was hard to tell them apart and who’s backstory was who but that could have been me.
This book has steam factor when nothing steamy really happens just kissing. I’ve never read anything like that before. The five guys have amazing chemistry and Emma fits right into that. I can’t wait to read more by Bethany Jadin and more of this series.

This was a cute story about Emma and her potential men. I liked the best friend Zoey, she only wants what's best for Emma and doesn't act like competition for the men. The intrigue about who is after Emma and her code was good but I hope the next book has more action in it. I also want Emma to tell the men about what Jeremy did to her. I am excited to read what happens next.

A fun introduction

This has the beginnings of a steamy story featuring a tech savvy woman and 5 men.

Emma is a coder, a software engineer, writing some amazing program which has caught the attention of several tech companies. One in particular has taken her in and given her more than just a lucrative contract...but she's been burned before both professionally and personally. So, it's gonna take more than just some hot dudes and lots of cash to get her to commit.

It was a fun book, but like with any series, it feels like a warm up. Introducing the world and the players and the drama...but, I enjoyed it. The pace was good and was a fast read. I'm looking forward to book 2.

For a series starter this wasn’t bad. I thought there would be more about Emma working on her coding. There was almost nothing about that. And they way the story line jumped was sometimes very confusing. But I’m intrigued enough to read the next one

So slow

I really like the characters and it's well written but the pace is sooo slow and it jumps about a bit too.
I just don't know if I'm invested enough to read another 4 books

3.5 rounded down

So, I've read the first 4 books now. I think Book 1 is the best, and it start going down from there. Are the rest of the books bad? No. But I'll admit I've gotten bored, and I don't plan to finish the series.

Pros:
-I love the female friends. There's no jealousy or cat fights, and they have good contributions to Emma's story.
-Gunner and Jax are bi! I love RH that have this.
-It's not too insta-love, though it toes the line.
-Emma's hesitation of a poly relationship. Tackling those buried social stigmas is often overlooked in RH, so it's refreshing.
-I like that Emma is a coder, but...

Cons:
-Emma acts like a broke college kid. She could have a decent paying job doing literally anything in IT, but instead, she works as an orderly in a hospital.
-Each book has a cliffhanger, and they're literally continuations. It's like one big story is just chopped into pieces. Each book doesn't have it's own problem to be solved. Just one big timeline.
-For Emma to be SO smart... Why does it takes 4 books before Daniel, out of everyone, to solve Emma's code?
-Smut goes downhill FAST. It's what I'm here for :(

I'd say most people would enjoy this series, especially if graphic sexy times isn't your thing.

Sexy need lovin

This first book has just the right amount of steamy interaction between the characters as they get to know each other. Emma is a smart, interesting character and the guys compliment her personality as well as each other's
