Very brief scene where two strangers privately question Nao-chan's gender from a distance. Nao-chan and Mitsumi themselves neither hear nor notice them.tersirat's review against another edition

Haven't gotten into the meat of the story since it's mostly been introduction of characters. It was a lovely start! It was very easy to love these characters. They're relatable. They're clumsy even a little bit emotional. I'm just in love with how Misaki Takamatsu depicts teenagers and youth. These complicated social situations that they had to navigate. The difficulty of understanding not everyone's going to be on the same page as you. The difficulty of trying to get along with others. It's just relatable and (slightly) bittersweet. But again, this is only the first volume which means it barely scratches the surface of it all.
Moderate: Bullying
Minor: Transphobia
