I think this one might be my new favorite of B.B. Hamel's.
Brena is running from her crazy ex and turns to her father for protection. Her father assigns Colin to be her bodyguard until the situation is under control. Colin and Brena have a past but other things could stand in the way of them having a future.
I loved Colin's sense of humor and cockiness. He had me laughing at some of the things he said.
Brena is scared and Colin is the only one she feels safe with. Their banter was funny and I believed the way they were with each other.
This is a HEA and a standalone like the other books in the series. They can all be read separately but characters do overlap so it's best to read them in order.

My first mob read an I loved it.
Mob meets taboo why more could you ask for.
Swoon just thinking about Colin has me hot under the collar.
He is such a cocky arsewhole but with sweet tendencies you can't help but fall for him.
True alpha meets foul mouthed b*stard meets having the d*ck to back it up. *yep I'm swooning again*
Breena is adorable not your typical mob princess.
Living a sheltered life breena hadn't known what was going on under her nose and when she finds out the s*it hits the fan.
She ups and leaved without looking back this is until she's stuck in a situation that only daddy and his guys can help her out with.
*Is daddy able to get breena out of this sticky situation.
*can she find it in herself to let the past say in the past.
*can she continue to fight her obvious desire for the sake of daddy.
This was my first read by bb and it won't be my last.
I will definitely look in to bbs presents and future works.
Her writing style is fabulous. So easy to read I didn't want to adult :) wooopsie
I am a changed reader and will definitely go out of my way to find another mob book. (Any an all recommendations fully welcome) I have no idea what in looking for.

Another great book. I will admit to being a bit put off regarding a Stepbrother romance but one I started reading it I realized this was different. Breena and Colin are super great together. Another great book not to be missed!
