Not bad, but I wish it had been more. The main characters have a fun dynamic but the best characters are sidelined for the first half of the book. The main character is so dense its a little frustrating to read. He comes around eventually, but with too little to show for his journey to be very compelling. The group dynamics near the end (and the ending reveal) would have been a bit more interesting to have earlier on, imo.
Has some good moments but really drags in some places where it does a lot of telling but little showing

A cute read. Sometimes the tone between funny and dark was a little confusing. It didn’t always seem like the stakes were actually as high as they were meant to be. Also, I wanted more werewolf stuff! But it was a cute read. If there was a sequel I’d listen.
