This had a bit of charm but the illustrations were sloppy and inconsistent.

I like how Archie comics have a main story and then they have other stories that are unrelated and the characters do different things. In this one, Archie forms his band- the Archies, and they play a gig. There is the normal teen drama. Reggie is on bass, Jughead, the awesome, on drums. Eventually, they go on tour and meet and play with other up and coming bands out in the world. They have money issues as Veronica is cut off by her dad and they have to live rough.
There is a lot of zest and youth in this story. You can smell the teen spirit. Archie comics are some of my favorite stories going on out there. They are simply fun and entertaining. I also enjoyed the fact that the relationship between Archie, Betty and Veronica was not going on. It was nice not having to deal with that.
I look forward to reading more Archie’s in the future.

This was enjoyable, but lacked the spark of the other modern Archie titles. Still a fun ride though.

This is a fun series, its updated and modern, but still feels like the original comics.
